PRIVACY & DATA

PRIVACY NOTICE

Last updated: 21 September 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

Jon Howorth, trading as Hammer Training and BioLabs Training, is the data controller. For privacy questions or requests, use the support page or call 07599 142227.

Information we collect

Camera, photos and location

Camera access is used when you choose to scan a food barcode or add a photo. Photo-library access is used only when you choose a photo. Location access is requested only when you start GPS cardio tracking so the app can calculate distance, pace and your route. These permissions can be changed in your device settings.

How and why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, save and display fitness records, provide membership access, process payments, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and maintain the service. Where information reveals health information, we rely on the explicit consent collected during account setup.

Service providers

Hammer Training uses Supabase for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payments, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and security, OpenAI for optional AI Coach and meal-analysis requests, and WhatsApp only when a member chooses to join the group. We do not sell personal information.

Protection and retention

Account authentication and database access controls are used to protect member records. Account and fitness information is kept while an account is active and only as long afterwards as reasonably needed for support, security or legal requirements.

Your rights and account deletion

You can download your information or permanently delete your account inside Hammer Training under Account & Access. Account deletion cancels future renewals and removes the account, workouts, food logs, measurements and private progress photos. You may also ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer by contacting support.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
